- Topic request — an occasion or relationship we have not covered yet. These genuinely shape what we write next.
- Correction — a typo, a broken link, a line that reads wrong. Include the page URL.
- Guest post — read write for us first, then pitch.
- Advertising — sponsorship and placement enquiries.
- Copyright — if you believe something here duplicates your work, tell us where and we will check it and remove it if you are right. Everything on this site is written in-house, so this should never happen, but the door is open.
We answer most email within a few working days.
What helps us respond faster
Include the page URL if your message is about something specific. For a topic request, tell us the occasion and the relationship — "birthday wishes" is hard to act on, but "birthday wishes for a friend you have drifted apart from" is a page we can write. If you are reporting a mistake, quoting the line is quicker for both of us than describing where it sits.
Requests we get a lot
Can I use these lines commercially? Yes. Post them from a business account, print them on a card you sell, put them in a speech. The only thing we ask is that you do not republish whole pages of our lines on a competing website. Full details are in our terms.
Do you take requests for specific festivals? Yes, and seasonal requests genuinely move up the queue — tell us at least a month before the date so the page is live and indexed in time.
Will you link to my site? Only through a guest contribution that earns its place. See write for us for what we accept.
